Remember, before Mr. Clean was a character in print, an actor played him. I believe the actor was named House Peters, Jr. The print version looked like he did.
Well that is a really interesting story but there was a man who actually invented the product and that is why it is called Mr. Clean. Otherwise, it wouldn't be called that.
