Glaceau, which also does business under the name Energy Brand, is owned by the Coca Cola Company. It is headquartered in Whitestone, Queens, New York. It was purchased by Coca Cola in 2007, although it operates as a privately owned subsidiary, and has nearly complete autonomy in its business practices.

The famous rapper 50 cent bought into the brand when it was a start up after trying the drink at his gym. Apparently, he couldn't find regular water after his workout. Thinking it was great he got involved and made Glaceau's "VitaminWater" a popular brand. It was sold as a subsidiary company to Coca-Cola who now owns it.

It was bought by Coca Cola in around 2007. the rapper, 50 cent also got involved in the brand when he couldn't find water after coming from the gym, he like Glaceau. Their most popular product is Vitamin Water. This brand started in 1996 and then afterwards it was bought by Coca Cola.

Right now Glaceau is its own company with their biggest product being Vitamin Water. The company started up in 1996 and is most likely going to be bought out by the Coca Cola Company.
