The Beckett company publishes a monthly magazine/price guide called "Beckett Basketball" which is the most widely accepted authority on basketball cards. They also have a website (search for "Beckett" on a search engine) that one can pay for via a subscription. Beckett also makes guides for most other major sports as well.

The best price guide for all sport cards is without doubt Beckett. You can look at them online or buy the guide every month. You should keep tabs on your cards as prices vary month to month.

The industry standard is a monthly price guide by Beckett. They have magazines for each of the major sports and a yearly "bible" checklist for all known cards of the sport.
