Which would win in a fight a Grizzly bear or a tiger?

A tiger would win because it naturally would want to eat the bear whereas a bear would prefer fruits, seeds, and berries but would eat the tiger only if needed.

A grizzly bear has an average weigh of 550lbs. Some tigers, e. g. Bengal, can weigh just in excess of 500lbs. The sheer mass and aggression, when provoked, of the bear would be likely to overpower the tiger. In reality both animals would avoid confrontation!

I definitely don't think the grizzly weighs 550 lbs. (well maybe an average one as pjw16 said), I know ones that are over 1,500 lbs. Both are fierce, but I do agree with pjw16, Grizzly is too big and strong. He'd likely kill the tiger with his paw swipes alone!
