Who would win in a fight between a tiger and a lion?

It would be Lion, the king always rule the jungle. Lion is said to be more ferocious and dangerous when compared to tiger.

Assuming we are matching up males, I would bet on the tiger. Lions have an overrated reputation as a hunter, preferring to live as scavengers. Tigers on the other hand are more predatory and skilled in the art of taking down opponents. If it came down to a territory fight, I'd back the tiger to win.

Tigers generally catch smaller and weaker prey than Lions do. The skill of a hunter also does not determine the fighting ability, as Lions spend their first four years learning on to fight to defend the pride. The more experienced lion would edge out a victory in a turf war... add a comment

In truth the lion will win at least 6 out of 10 times in my book because he has a mane to protect him, and is a fierce warrior. The tiger is too, but the only way he kills the lion is if he dies from open wounds.

They would never naturally meet each other, as lions live in Africa and tigers in Asia. Should they meet each other, I would go with the tiger, as the Cincinnati Bengals are 6-1 against the Detroit Lions since 1983.
