Water at high altitudes will boil at a lower temperature than water at sea level will, that's why pacvkage directions are different for high altitudes.

The temperature at which water boils is dependent on pressure, volume, and temperature. So water with a lower pressure will boil at a lower temperature. Because there is less atmosphere on a mountain, that means less pressure and a lower boiling temperature.
