His rookie cards, autographed cards, very limited cards are generally your best bet for greatest value. His cards in general have declined in value though ever since his steroid use was discovered.

Three cards could get you $20-100. McGwire's card from the 1982 Anchorage Glacier Pilots set,his 1985 Modesto A's Chong card, and the 1985 Topps Mark McGwire Olympic rookie card. In addition to these, any autographed/jersey/refractor card of McGwire should bring in a similar amount. His regular (base) cards usually are worth from 50 cents to $1.00 in real value.
