I would go with bamboo because it is hard and durable compared to cork wich is soft and will damage much faster.

In my opinion, for a basement the better flooring is the bamboo because is more harder than the cork floor. Basement are usually areas use for recreation for example for do exercises, for playing games, etc

Both bamboo and cork are good floors for a basement. Personally I would use cork, cork reduces noise, is softer to walk on and is warm to the touch.

Really both are about the same. Cork isn't as durable so if you move a lot of stuff around then you might want to go with bamboo.
