Removing lawnmower blades depends on the manufactures specifications for that particular lawn mower. Most lawn mowers have one bolt on each blade which can be removed by turning the bolt underneath the blade counter clockwise.

Removing a mower blade is like loosening anything. Use a wrench and turn the nut to the left. You may need some liquid wrench as they can stick.

In order to remove the mower blade you must turn the bolt counter clockwise, this is to the left if you are looking at the blade.
