Where is the valve location in order to do a purge control?

On a Hyundai, the purge valve should be on the back of the intake manifold. Look for the throttle body, and follow the purge hose. It should lead you directly to the purge control valve. If you're still having difficulty finding it, check your hood labels. There should be diagrams there that will have you finding it in no time.

Let a shop do this, in order to purge a valve you need a special tool that regulates the pressure removed from the valve.

We would need to know the model of Hyundai in order to tell you where it is located. Most of them are located on the engine itself next to the emissions and intake. However, you can get pictures by searching on your model exactly or the part number. Remember, you cannot fix a purge valve, you can only replace it.

If you are wanting to do a purge control on your valve you will need to get under the hood. The valve location should be able to be found near the engine.
