The answer to this question depends on what your goal is. If your desire is to quickly sell a large amount of coins with the least effort, take them to a dealer. You will get less money than what you would get selling coins singly at a show, but the time investment will be significantly less.

Shows would provide more opportunity. Selling to a store may rely on one person wanting your coins and paying a fair price. A show would have more potential customers.

It depends what the demand is like for the coin you have. If it is high, I would do it an auction or show, otherwise I might get less, but a guaranteed price from a shop.
