Where is a good place to go on a trip for a 50th birthday?

My recommendation would be Barcelona because it has something for everyone, no matter their age. There are hotels in every price bracket and restaurants serving all different cuisines (but don't miss tapas and the local seafood). As well, Barcelona has great museums, fantastic shopping and beautiful architecture by Gaudi. Plus, the weather is great year-round!

I would suggest a cruise to the Bahamas! We have gone twice and loved it. The advantage of a cruies is that there is something for everybody when you bring your family. We went on Royal Carribean and it was very reasonably priced. Many people think you would get bored on the ship, but that is not the case.

A cruise is an excellent place to celebrate a milestone birthday; it permits family and friends to join, and allows for exciting new locations be be explored.

It is your wife's 50th birthday and it would seem a good idea to ask her where she would like to go. It would be thoughtful way of letting you know you love her and value her desires. You may even suggest taking one trip with the family and taking a romantic side trip for the two of you.
