Where does "Fences" by August Wilson fall in the Pittsburgh Cycle.

The Pittsburgh Cycle has ten parts.

The piece "Fences" is the sixth installation in Wilson's Cycle dedicated to the documentation of life in the as an African-American throughout the decades. "Fences" takes place in the 1950's but was not necessarily written after "Seven Guitars" set in the 1940's since the parts are not in chronological order.
