There is help out there for those suffering from domestic violence. Call your state office or mayors office and ask them for a referral. Or search online for a hotline.

Your local police department will have information available with local services which can assist you. You can also contact The National Domestic Violence Hotline at 800. 799. 7233. Hotline advocates provide support and assistance to anyone in a domestic violence situation. All calls to the Hotline are anonymous and confidential.

Call the police! The police is one way to finish domestic violence. Get the violator thrown in jail, so it does not turn into something worse like murder or serious injury! You need help, and if you do not want to get legal help talk to the parents of the violator or have someone stay at your house for protection!

There are allot of shelters for woman, and men who are involved in domestic violence. You would have to do some research to find the one available in your neighborhood. The phone book will have what your looking for. If you can use a computer, its quicker, and probably shows you more options.

You can call the Police, a domestic violence hot line or a domestic violence shelter in your area. Most communities have domestic violence sheltera that will let you stay for free while you get on your feet. They will protect you and your kids (if any) from your violent spouse.
