Aluminum wire gauges can be found at most hardware stores. Most of them will be located in the section for electrical tools and fixtures. Some farming stores or shopping departments with an agricultural aisle will without a doubt carry them. There are also several websites which offer them at a reasonable price.

Wire guage is the size or thickness of a wire and you can find a pocket size guage finder at most all hardware or tool stores.

Try your local hardware store. If that doesn't work, you could always try going to a big department store. They are usually divided into aisles and you can find all sorts of things on the shelves, including the kind of thing you're looking for. If you need help, there are people you can ask.

Wire gauge is a rating of how thick or thin a wire is designed. If you are unsure of the right gauge of wire, go to a local home improvement store and compare gauges, or just purchase the various wires you need. Aluminum wire is pretty rare.
