The easiest place to try is the public library. I would also look at a museums gift shop. Another good source is the internet. You can find price guides and collecteors sites.Antique shows often have a vendor that sells price guides and you can wonder the sites and get a general idea what your banks are worth

I am sure if you look on a search engine you will be able to find a very good one. You can also look on yellow pages for an appraiser.
