Where are the world's biggest salt mines?

ISLAMABAD (April 07 2009): Pakistan is the only country for having the worlds largest salt mines with proven reserves of about 10 billion ton in three mines including more than 6.687 billion ton only in the Khewra rocky salt mine, located in the area of district Jhelum.Other two salt mines are Warcha and Kalabagh.

This is a list of some of the biggest world salt mines : Tuzla in Bosnia, Ontario in Canada, Lake Atanasovsko in Bulgaria, Bochnia in Poland, Khewra in Pakistan, Mount Morris in New York, Cheshire in England, Slanic in Romania, Rheinberg in Germany. Besides this places the sees has a great reserve of salt from where greatest percent comes from.
