During the winter months is the best time to avoid jellyfish. Anytime between October and May is when the water will be too cold for them and therefore this is the best time to visit.

Panama City Beach will not have jelly fish in the winter months- Ocytober through May because the water is to cold for them. If you are visting in the summer months, August is the month to avoid.

In the winter, there are not a lot of jelly fish because they do not like the cold temparatures. However you may not like the cold water either. But, if you are just going for the scenery, the fall or winter is best because it is less crowded.

It's hard to tell - this can be an all year phenomenon. I would recommend asking their department of tourism, or the local lifeguard posts - they will often have some of the best resources, and may be able to guide you around the local area as well. Good luck, don't get stung!

The winter time is best, from October to May would be a good time frame to visit because the jelly fish do not like cold water and that will greatly reduce the risk of being stung or seeing jellyfish.

To avoid jellyfish at Panama City Beach, do not travel in August. Even though there have been tourists that have not seen any jellyfish on their trip, they are still there in the waters. The best time to visit Panama City Beach would be during mid April and May. Avoid spring break times at all costs. Weather is wonderful April/May.
