Avoiding the extreme weather and temperatures, both hot and cold, during the end of your pregnancy is best. Aiming for conception in August or December would result in births in May and September, respectively. This would allow you to be the most comfortable during the final months of your pregnancy.

It is a matter of personal preference. I like the summer, because you'll be biggest and most uncomfortable in the winter months. That way you don't get too hot and itchy, and you don't miss being outside.
