When is revenge justified?

Revenge is only justified when it does the target little or no harm and will show him/her that he/she has done wrong.

It is justified in certain cases and for certain reasons. For example when someone has stolen your property or done something illegal. No, it is not justified. Let the law takecare of it. In severe cases when the government or law is truly wrong than yes.
