What's the difference between PayPal and WebMoney?

I've used PayPal for a long time, but I'm hearing a lot about WebMoney now.

PayPal is a Subsidiary of eBay and WebMoney belongs to WM Transfer Ltd. If you want to use PayPal, you have to give PayPal your credit number. WebMoney does not require a credit card nor a bank account. So WebMoney might be safer as the transactions are final. PayPal is also safe.

Well pay pal has existed for a while now and web money came into the picture quite recently. Alert pay is also quite recent as well and many people are using it. Web money isn't as safe I would say. That's why I don't use it and pay pal charges for transactions.

The difference consist in the fact that for PayPal the money is spent from an account linked to a credit card but for WebMoney you spend from credits earned completing offers or jobs over an internet account.

WebMoney is a new competitor to Paypal. Receiving money is free, but sending it costs 0.8% of the amount transferred.

WebMoney first started out in Russia in the 90s, but now it's available in the US. You don't need a credit card or bank account, like you do for Paypal.

Paypal customer service is so much better. WMtransfer support answers your queries rudely and gives no effort to help you for merchants who cheated ... even for the merchants they advertised on their own website.
