What's the deal with the ferris wheel in London?

It's awesome! It was build to celebrate the millennium originally and because the attraction was so popular, it stayed. You should ride it if you get a chance, the view over the city is great. You can see the Thames, Big Ben and the skyline. If you buy the pass ahead you can save money too.

It's called the Millennium Eye and was originally constructed for the turning of the new millenium in 2000. It's not a carnival ride. It is much bigger, with enclosed seats and gives a great view of the city, so they kept it up.
