The "best" film is subjective. It depends on whom you ask and what the criteria are. There are lists of the greatest films ever made, but it would be impossible to declare that a single film is better than all others of all time.

The best movie ever made was Shawshank Redemption. It has the best bromance in history between RED and Andy. Andy is in jail for killing his wife and REd is the guy that knows how to get thing in jail. Over his stay Andy becomes close to Red and they a friends forever.

No one could ever answer such a question. There are different film cultures in the world from USA, Canada, England, Australia and even India. All these places have their own interpretation of what is good and what is not. So the real answer is what each person considers good.

The film that would be the BEST FILM IN THE WORLD is up for debate. A very strong contender might be GONE WITH THE WIND made in 1939 with Clark Gable. It is always considered one of the best films ever made and other films are compared against it for greatness.

Obviously this is an individual preference, but some of my favourite films would be Titanic, Braveheart, A Beautiful Mind and Dances with Wolves.
