What's a good marinade for a Greek beef tenderloin?

An easy recipe is: 1/4 c lemon juice 1 cup olive oil 2TBS of minced garlic 1tsp dried oregano. Marinate meat in mixture for 30 minutes to 4 hours.

Mix two cups of excellent-quality olive oil with the juice of two medium-sized lemons. Add 2-4 tablespoons garlic, 2 teaspoons dried oregano, and salt and pepper, mix well, and add the tenderloin. Marinate for at least 2 hours. Serve with herbed garlic butter.

Mix together 3 tablespoons lemon juice , 2 cloves of garlic minced, 1/2 teasoon of fresh thyme, half a bay leaf, 1/2 teaspoon fresh oregano, salt and pepper and about 1/3 cup of olive oil. Put meat in and leave it marinating for about 4 hours.
