What's a good fix for a zipper that won't stay up?

As what I've known hairspray can do a trick in zippers. To keep it from sliding open, you just need to spray it on the zipper while you're pulling it back.

Well if the zipper won't stay up consider replacing it. It may be a faulty zipper. Try using starch to loosen the zipper.
