What wording is good to ask for gifts of money for grade school children graduating?

My son, always thinking ahead, has decided now is the time to start saving for college. In this economy, I think that is a wonderful idea. So, please do not send him materail gifts for graduation. Instead help fund his college with monetary gifts. It will be much appreciated and last much longer than any other gift. Thanks!

How much money you require to continue your post graduate study? whether should I deposit in your bank account? Or should I send it by demand draft or by cheque?

I would not expect anything for a grade school child's graduation. Generally most people only give gifts for senior graduation and on occasion 8th and Kindergaden Grades.

Our child has graduated from grade school. In an effort to recognize his accomplishments, we are collecting money to purchase a gift to reward hum for his graduation.
