In 2005, they were a variety of hair styles that were in fashion! Long layered hair cuts that were textured were considered a sexy style. Having a "bed-head" kind of look was wanted and simplicity was key! Not many high-lights were seen. More darker neutral colors were shown off, whether it was on celebrities heads or simpletons.

In 2005 a lot of the 'retro' look came back into vogue. The Elvis hairdo was making comeback while bed hair or the disheveled look was big. Everything was layered or shaved away such a close cut head. A wavy hairdo was prevalent in men for a time as well almost reminiscent of the 50s Greaser.

Straight hair styles were very popular in 2005. Other popular styles include short cuts, layers with soft edges and side swept bangs. The "in" color for 2005 was mainly in the reds and color highlights were also very common for this year.

Short hair was in in 2005. Layered, short in the back and a little longer in the front. Kind of like a bob. Lots of color streaks were also in.
