Sitcoms like The Cosby Show, Family Ties, Golden Girls, Alf, Mash, Facts of Life, Cheers, Newhart and Designing Women. There were alot of great cop shows like Miami Vice, 21 Jumpstreet, and Cagney and Lacey. Many memorable dramas like Dallas, Knots Landing, LA Law,Magnum P.I,Remington Steele, Dukes of Hazard,and Macgyver.

I love this question. China Beach, Hill Street Blues, Magnum Pi, Family Ties, Knots Landing, La Law, Mcgyver, Night Court, Married With Childeren, and yes The Cosby Show was on in the 80s too.
