The best things of the 80s were the music, fashion, and toys. The music scene was great, with hits from Michael Jackson, Bon Jovi, Duran Duran, and Def Leppard. Chuck Taylors and legwarmers were fashionable, and everyone had a rubix's cube.

The nba. During the 50s, 60s, and 70s the NBA and basketball as a whole were not very popular, and definitely not international. When Magic Johnson and Larry Bird entered the league in the 80s, it took the NBA to a level it had never been before. Magic, Bird, Lakers, Celtics, are all a huge reason behind basketball's current popularity.

The music of the 80's was great! Some of my favorite bands were Def Leppard, Van Halen and Joan Jett and the Blackhearts. Also in the 1980's there bwere some awesome mullett hair styles.

For me the 80's were awesome. Everything wasn't about being politically correct, instead the focus was on movies, music, style, and just plain being cool. The music was hot and loud and clubbing was the thing to do. The clothes were wild and wicked to match the dances and party music. Even TV shows were more interesting, even the cartoons!
