What were some of the deadliest earthquakes?

I need some history on the deadliest earthquakes on American soil.

The New Madrid Earthquake, the San Fransisco Earthquake, and the Alaska Earthquake are 3 very major earthquakes. THe New Madrid Earthquake hit the middle of the United States in the 1800's, and was about a 9 on the scale.

I think the most deadliest earthquakes on American soil were these ones: 1811 - New-Madrid, town was destroyed 1906 - San-Francisco, 1500 people dead 1964 - Alaska, takes the second place in earthquakes top of deadlist and destructions, provoked a lot of deaths in Indonesia 1980 - Washington,

The largest in America was on April 18, 1906, and had a death toll of 3000. On April 1, 1946, 165 died in an earthquake in the Aleutian Mountains in Alaska, and in Prince William Sound, Alaska, 128 died in an earthquake on March 28, 1964.

San Francisco earthquake in 1906 (killed 300 people), 1946 Alaskan earthquake (killed 156 people) and the 1933 Long Beach, California (killed 115 people).
