Wedding rehearsal dinners occur immediately following the rehearsal. Traditionally at the dinner the bride and groom will present thank you gifts to their bridal party as well as to one another. The families use the time to celebrate the upcoming wedding, reminiscence about the bride and groom and make toast.

The rehearsal dinner is a gathering of the wedding party itself. It occurs after the church rehearsal. It can be either formal or informal. After eating and a few informal toasts, final plans are discussed or potential problems are ironed out. Who is riding with whom? Who is unable to come? This is your last chance to fix things.
