Law school requires a lot of reading. Candidates have often pursue degrees like political science, history and English. Sports law is a specialty in the field of law, not an area of academic study.

I think a degree in pre-law would be a good choice. You also might consider history or political science as a major.

I would say political science would be the best. It will get you ready for a lot of basic things that you need to know in a law firm. This is a very common pre-law degree, no matter what kind of law you are going to be going into in the future.
