Ice skating can be taught at a variety of places. Your least expensive option may be your local park district. This may include very basic training for ice skating. Your local ice rink may provide training for ice skating. Or you may also seek the guidance from a personal ice skating trainer. This option may be more expensive.

in texas where i live you have to go to a recreational center to learn. i am from detroit and that is where i learned at a recreational center. adam butzel is the name. personally i think it's the best place to learn because they have teachers and free equipment to use for those without the proper gear.

Some people teach ice skating one on one, but the best idea if you want to learn how to ice skate is to go to a local ice skating rink or exposition building with an ice rink. Usually, places like that have instructors on staff and offer a range of classes from beginner levels to more advanced ones.
