Sony MD Data Discs hold 80 minutes of video. They were designed to work with Sony MD camcorders. HI-MD discs were later released. These are capable of holding up to 45 hours of audio due to their 1 GB size.
A Mini-disc data cartridge container is 68 x 72 x 5 millimeters; the same size as an audio Mini-disc. However, the audio form isn't as popular outside of Japan.
