After gall bladder surgery you should perhaps go easy on the roughage. You need to keep up the fibre in your diet but need easily digested food. Also eat colorful fruits to promote healing.

Foods to avoid after gall-bladder surgery include any kind of fatty or fried food, eggs and dairy products, red meats, and citrus fruits. A few foods can be helpful, including sweet potatoes, green beans and avocados, onions and garlic, and apples and grapes. Your surgeon will give you good instructions.

I would eat mild, calming food. I would stay away form real spicy food items and foods particularly hard to digest, like beans.
