The kitten should be curious of surrounding and is starting to become more mobile. He/she should start to wean off milk at this point to wet kitten food.

Your 4-week-old kitten should be up walking, eyes should be open and clear, and the kitten should start showing interest in regular kitten food.

4 week old kittens are usually just starting to play and are just starting to learn how to eat solid food. It should still be with its mother because it still needs to be drinking her milk.
