What should I know before planting a shady lady olive tree?

There is not much to know, you should be fine with planting it and watering and watching it grow. This sort of tree does need an ample amount of water, the ground can become dry and this is okay but overly parched could kill the tree quite quickly if you do not notice it soon enough.

The biggest thing you need to know is to plant it in well drained soil and also make sure you plant blackberry bushes nearby to keep the wasps from eating the olive tree.

Before planting anything, you need to know the climate zone you live in and what type of climate the tree prefers. You also need to know the soil pH needed.
