I would make sure that you don't break the locks. Also make sure you are not going to break the door itself or anything else in the process. I have locked myself out of my room before and that was not very much fun. I now have a door knob that is much better.

You should know which key opens the door. Also if you have a dead bolt that requires the same key or a different key. Also which way the key is turned to unlock the lock. If no key is available, you may be able to remove the hinges and get the door off this way.

If you have a key you can usually open them. If you don't have a key you can hire a locksmith and she can open them.
