I'm not sure about your pet turtle but my pet turtle initially dislike us feeding it. So I leave some lettuce at the space he stay. Some of the food that turtles can eat are fruits and vegetables, boiled, steamed meats like hard boiled eggs and steamed fishes. Don't give food that contains too much fats though.

Feed the turtle small pieces of raw vegetables and fruits, especially leafy greens. Be sure to cut the skins from apple pieces. Fresh, clean water is important.

Turtles are herbivores, meaning they eat plants. Feed the turtle lettuce...things that you would normally eat on a salad. Also, you can buy turtle food at pet stores.
