If bites are appearing at night, you may have fleas in your bed or you may have bed bugs. Bed bugs always leave bite marks that are triangular (have three dots).

They are likely the cause of bed bugs. These insects are tiny and live layers of bedding and the mattress. Their incidence has been on the rise with international travel and they can be spread from your clothing to the bedding. They come out at night to bite people and leave small red bites. Pest control firms can kill them.

It could be spider bites, that you have. There are spiders that bite at night. You should have them looked at though. There are other bugs that bite too, like masquetoss.
