To install roofing in a valley properly, you must first flash it with grace ice and water shield all the way down the valley to ensure there are no leaks down the valley. The ice and water shield needs to be down whether you use asphalt shingles or metal flashing.

Well it may take a couple of hours to do it and it also costs a lot of money to do.
