Hematoma normally means clotting of blood and you should take complete bed rest because if excessive bleeding starts than chances are that you might have an abortion. So take complete rest.

This hematoma can cause blood loss to the point of the baby not getting enough blood - which reduces oxygen and nutrient flow. If it worsens, it can also cause the sac to be dislodged. Bed rest reduces the risk of either event occurring.
