A six-month-old fetus is pretty much fully formed, and you will probably feel lots of movement. You may start to feel Braxton-Hicks, or practice contractions. Most likely you will take your glucose tolerance test around this time to screen for gestational diabetes. You may start to experience more heartburn and indigestion at this point as well.

For most women, this is a good time in pregnancy. Morning sickness has usually subsided and you will start to feel the baby kicking if you haven't already.

If you've had morning sickness it should start to go away. You will be pretty much "showing." The baby becomes more active.

Six months is usually a fairly easy time of pregnancy. The ill effects diminish, and the only thing to deal with is the extra weight.
