I can't comment on the Oakland County Jail specifically, as I've never visited the location myself, but the general rules of thumb are that you can expect to be questioned frequently, kept under a watchful eye, accompanied by security throughout the premises, and allowed a set amount of time to visit a prisoner. Do not step out of line.
