What should I expect from a lab pitbull mix puppy?

I myself have a pitbull/lab mix puppy. They do nibble a bit more than other breeds, but that can be easily fixed with determination and consistent training. With this mix of breed love is better than harsh punishment-make sure you reward more than you scold and you should do wonderfully!

If you are responsible and loving toward your puppy, you should expect to have a playful and loving dog. I have always had pitbull mixes, and a lab-pitbull mix is especially good, since a lab has a soft mouth.

Because both Labs and PitBulls are known to use their mouths more than some other breeds, and they have a tendency to explore and learn as puppies by biting and nibbling, you should expect that this is an area you will need to spend extra time on in training.

Lab and pitbull is a great mix of breeds, you just have to be willing to deal with a very stubborn dog. Will require alot of attention, love, and exercise. Train it ASAP to behave around other animals and kids, even consider raising it with a kitten.

Nothing more than you should expect from any other puppy. A dog is going to grow up as the owner raises it, so remember that he's YOUR puppy and it will grow up how YOU raise it!
