If it starts laying eggs, you want to make a warm environment for your parakeet. Make sure you feed it often and make sure the eggs are put in a well warm place.

you need a hatching box, to lay the eggs in (which should be closed and dark). Assuming you also have a male and the eggs are fertilized you should try and leave the birds alone as much as you can so they do not abandon them. Same food as always.

Do not remove the eggs until your female bird loses interest in them completely, otherwise she will continue to lay more eggs. This can eventually be unhealthy for your bird. If there is no male parakeet the eggs are not fertile, so they will just be empty eggs.

If there is a male in with her, a next box should be placed in the cage, otherwise she will not take care of the eggs. If they are not fertile, boil the eggs and grind them shell and all and feed them back to her. It will provide calcium.

If your female parakeet starts laying eggs, make sure that you are feeding her a healthy diet high in calcium because the eggs will be taking it away from her.

If you don't have a male, and you don't intend to breed/raise parakeets, just remove the eggs and dispose of them. This is normal with female parakeets, and W/O the male, the eggs aren't fertile, so they won't hatch. Leave them in the cage, and they'll eventually rot then break.
