If the baby is an infant, maybe he is not getting enough to eat. Maybe he is colicky. Check with your doctor.

Feed them if they are hungry. Or just try to get them to be tired while you are holding them and put them in their crib before they fall asleep

A young baby will tend to do this. They just have to get used to the routine. Make sure they are fed and changed and get them back to sleep.
