What should I do for a boxer with eye mucus?

Eye mucus is normal when a dog awakes from sleep. Be sure to wipe mucus off. Bacteria grows on eye mucus. Eye mucus can be a sign of conjunctivitis or some other eye infection. The best thing to do is see your vet. Your dog might need an antibiotic. Never mess around with eyes.

You can keep eyes wiped with a soft cloth or dog wipe. If continuous, take to the vet as eye problems usually result from bacteria and need antibiotics and ointment.

If your Boxer has a green mucus around the eye, go to the vet. Day to day mucus, wipe eyes and wrinkles daily.
