What should I do about a hummingbird's nest on wind chimes?

If there are eggs and nest is in a safe location, leave it. Tampering with the nest may cause the mother to abandon her eggs. Once the babies are gone, remove it. Hummingbirds like to return to the same location each year, provide a nest box nearby for future use.

It would be best to leave the nest alone until the hummingbirds are done with it. It appears that they think that your wind chimes are a suitable spot for a nest, so trust their judgment!
