What should I do about a golden doodle that has become aggressive?

It isn't the nature of that mix to be aggressive. Have the dog checked by your vet, first. Then enroll the dog in a serious training program (NOT treat or clicker training, which is a waste of time and money). You can fix this if you take the time.

Aggression in dogs is more commonly related to their training than to their personality. If you feel you can't control your dog, it might be wise to seek professional help. Not only does this give you and your pet a chance to learn about each other, it can also be a fun way to create a bond.

Considering what a litigious society we live in, I would suggest putting the animal down unless you are very willing to spend a lot of money trying to retrain him.

If it wasn'y agressive befor you need to figure out what happened that made the dog feel it needed t defend itself and start there.

Your dog needs training. If you call your local human society, they will probably know the different possible training options in your community.

You need to figure out where the aggressive behavior has come from. Most animals become aggressive because of something going on around them. If you can not figure out why your dog has become aggressive you can take it to a class
